The initial frontend was crafted using Bootstrap, LESS, and PHPTemplate, resulting in a responsive and user-friendly interface for both administrators and patients. As the platform evolved, it transitioned to a headless architecture, allowing secure delivery of referral and loyalty program data to a dedicated section within the “Patient Area” via custom APIs protected by JWT authentication. Despite this shift, the platform continues to manage all transactional emails and the distribution of rewards downloads to patients, maintaining this as the only front-end component within the original system.
